Partner & Investment Leader for Toll Roads
Thiago joined Patria in 2011 as an intern in the Infrastructure area. Thiago has worked across various sectors and positions throughout the last 13 years at Patria. Thiago is the Investment Leader for Toll Roads, one of the largest and most successful verticals in Patria’s Infrastructure vertical. Under Thiago’s leadership, Patria has developed and acquired seven Toll Road concessions in Brazil and Colombia, with 4,100 km of extension, a total capital commitment of USD 2.3 billion and a combined annual EBITDA of BRL 2 billion. His experience and trackrecord ranges from the development, acquisition, execution, and sale of platforms in the sector.
He had a direct participation in several successful cases of Patria Infrastructure Funds II, III, IV and V, including Highline, Entrevias, CART, Eixo SP, Rutas del Valle, Ruta al Sur, Via Araucária (Paraná) and Pacifico 3. Thiago is also an expert in project finance, having led the structuring of more than USD 2 billion in long term project finance for Infrastructure projects in Brazil and Colombia. He graduated in Mechanical Engineering at ITA (Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica). Thiago is based in Brazil and reports to Felipe Pinto, CIO Brazil of Infra Development Fund.
