Alejandro Olea is entrusted with the management of nearly USD 2 billion in assets as a committed Partner and Portfolio Manager for LatAm Equities at Patria. Before assuming his current role, he held a similar position at Moneda Asset Management. Olea's career commenced as an Analyst, focusing on high-yield corporate bonds throughout Latin America, where he demonstrated remarkable analytical skills and profound market insights. His period as a Senior Credit Analyst at Cheyne Capital Management in New York significantly expanded his international exposure, managing considerable assets and spearheading numerous investment projects across the region.
Returning to Moneda in 2008, Olea launched a novel investment strategy targeting Latin American Equities, continually driving the firm's strategic development and expansion. Presently, at Patria, he plays a pivotal role in devising investment strategies and broadening the firm's footprint in equity markets across Latin America.
Mr. Olea, who holds a Business Administration degree from Universidad de Talca, Chile, and an MBA from Maryland University – Loyola College, is renowned for his financial leadership and expertise.
