Patrick Knechtli

Based in Edinburgh, Patrick is the Head of Secondaries in the Private Equity team within Patria Global Private Markets Solutions (“Patria GPMS”) and is a member of the Patria GPMS Investment Committee and Operating Committee. With AuM of over $10bn and a team of over 70, including 25 investment professionals.

Patrick is responsible for sourcing, evaluating and executing secondary transactions and co-investments. He also manages a number of primary relationships. Patrick is lead manager for the SOF series of pooled secondaries’ funds.

He joined the business in 2009, prior to which he worked at Coller Capital in London, where he worked on numerous secondary portfolio transactions. His early career consisted of seven years in investment banking, first at Baring Brothers and then at ABN Amro Corporate Finance.

Patrick has a BA (Hons) degree in Modern Languages from the University of Exeter.
